The Mould that Changed the World by Robin Hiley and Charades Theatre is a new musical about Alexander Fleming and the global threat of antimicrobial resistance. The musical sees Alexander Fleming grapple with the survival tactics of both humans and bacteria as he plays his part in developing the first antibiotic, penicillin. As well as a performer, my role is to create learning resources for adults and young people that will continue to spread the message into the future. These currently include a series of lesson plans for schools and a podcast in development. Watch this space!
